The mission of Women For Michigan United is to successfully encourage, support, and promote women to become involved in the political process (locally, statewide, and nationally), and their communities.
Our intensive four week (Candidate, Campaign, or Organizing Trainings), provide comprehensive, non-partisan best practices to present and candidates, campaign staff and community leaders. Trainees learn the necessary skills and strategies by engaging in tough, realistic campaign simulations, and work with peers to develop a plan to run for office and win,or work on campaigns.Lead Michigan teaches you how to win elections. This premier campaign training the tools and information necessary to organize a winning campaign.
Regardless of the level of your political experience, learn the experts’ secrets of an effective campaign from announcement to Election Day.

African American Elected Officials, African American Business Leaders, African American Labor Leaders, and African American Community Leaders all coming together to highlight and celebrate the many accomplishments made by Michigan’s African American Leaders. . In 2016, the 3rd Annual Leadership Awards will inspire leadership.
